Gogglebox star Julie Malone has shared the heartbreaking news that beloved family dog Dave has passed away.
The pooch was a staple of the Malone family and frequently appeared with them on the Channel 4 series.
Julie announced the sad news on her official Instagram page today (October 18), sharing a video from just a few days ago of Dave being teased by husband Tom Sr.

"RIP Dave xxx There are no words to describe you ,or how much you meant to us," she wrote. "This was you on Sunday waiting for your Dad to come back and he had only gone out to the car x.
"We are all going to miss you so much," Julie added.
Julie and the family have since received a host of supportive comments, with fellow Gogglebox star Izzi Warner writing: "Awww rest in peace Dave sending you all lots of love xx".

Another follower said: "I’m truly sorry for your loss, he was the best little superstar Run free Dave, you’ll be missed".
A third added: "So sorry to hear this, he made me laugh so many times on Gogglebox, RIP Dave you knobhead thanks for the lols!", while a fourth wrote: "Oh no, sorry to hear this. Dave was as much of a star of Gogglebox as anyone".
Gogglebox also addressed the sad passing on it's X (formerly known as Twitter) page, sharing a photo of Dave posing with a BAFTA award.
"RIP Dave the #Gogglebox legend[.] He will be truly missed on the @TheMalonesGB sofa and on all our screens," the message read.
In other Gogglebox news, former show star Sandra Martin recently shared the sad news that her sister Jennifer Richards had passed away.
Gogglebox recently got a bit of a change-up, with longtime cast members Stephen Webb and his husband Daniel Lustig announcing that they have quit the series. Stephen has since joined the line-up for Dancing on Ice's next series.
Gogglebox airs and streams on Friday nights at 9pm on Channel 4.
