Rylan Clark has given fans a thankfully positive update on his mum Linda after she was rushed to hospital the other day.
The This Morning and Eurovision co-host announced on Friday that he couldn't present his BBC Radio 2 on Saturday as his mum, who he often appears on Celebrity Gogglebox with, had been taken to the emergency team at Princess Alexandra Hospital.
In follow-up Instagram Stories, Rylan explained that things had gone well for Linda and she had been discharged.
"She's all good," he wrote. "Hopefully she will be at home for her bday. She's now worried about wheelie bins going out again."
A later Story confirmed that she was allowed to go home, as Rylan stated: "Antibiotics have worked. Letting her home on orals. So she's home for her bday. Cheers everyone for their messages. Means a lot. Off to sort wheelie bins x."

Rylan has spoken multiple times about how Linda has dealt with Crohn's disease for all of her life, and that limits the amount of things she can do – including TV work.
"We've been offered hundreds of things," he said previously. "We got asked to do a travel show and the chance to go here and go there. It would be hilarious, but she's just not well enough to do it."
