Former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Mollie King has shared some exciting news with fans on social media – she's given birth to her first baby.

King shared a post to Instagram announcing the name of her baby girl – Annabella Broad – and sharing photos. She wrote: "Welcome to the world Annabella Broad. We have never been so in love."

King welcomed baby Annabella with her fiancé, cricketer Stuart Broad. The couple previously announced they were expecting in July this year.

They announced their engagement in January 2021 on social media, with King writing: "A thousand times yes! I still can't believe it, the most magical start to the new year! I can’t wait to spend all my years with you."

King is best known for being a former member of the girl band The Saturdays, while Broad is a notable England cricket player. King starred in the 2017 edition of Strictly Come Dancing, in which she and her professional dance partner AJ Pritchard finished as semi-finalists.

Earlier this year, King was announced as the co-presenter for the reboot of Beauty and the Geek alongside Matt Edmondson.

Upon the announcement, King said: "I can't wait to host the return of the UK series of Beauty and the Geek with Matt!

"As a pair, we are determined to help the couples get the best out of this adventure, and really want them to bring out the best in one another."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off show Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows also stream on BBC iPlayer.
