Celebrity Gogglebox viewers were pretty livid that tonight's (December 18) 'new' episode was actually just a compilation of highlights, but at least it gave them a second chance to absorb every silly/weird comment made throughout this year's series.
Definitely occupying the 'weird' end of that spectrum was a remark from Capital FM presenter Roman Kemp, who may just have managed to creep out broadcasting legend and all-round don Sir David Attenborough.
While watching an episode of Planet Earth II, Roman admitted to his dad Martin that he'd quite like to sit on Attenborough's knee, which naturally elicited a rather perturbed response.

"I don't know why, not in a creepy way, but I'd quite like to just sit on David Attenborough's knee," said Roman.
"If I've had a tough day he'd just be like, 'It's okay...'"

His concerned-looking father replied: "That's a bit creepy, Ro."
"Not in a creepy way. I don't mean in a creepy way," insisted Roman. "Just if I was a little kid, I don't know. He just seems like... he's like Santa Claus, int he?"
No, Roman, not really. But we'll concede that he probably has magical abilities that make anyone near him feel instantly better.
