The Great British Bake Off presented its Chocolate Week tonight (October 13) which saw one baker's dreams melt away while another got a suitably sweet ending.
After serving a cake deemed inedible by judge Prue Leith, it was sadly time to say goodbye to the always entertaining, mini-Pineapple Upside-Down cake-destroying Sura (Dave probably thought it was her just desserts, though).
Star Baker this week went to the much-deserving Mark, thanks to his birthday-inspired White Chocolate Tiered Celebration Cake.
Kicking off the show, for the Signature challenge the bakers were tasked with making brownies which had to be suitably soft and sticky on the inside.
But the challenge proved to be tricky for all involved with no baker managing to impress Paul and Prue with their tray bakes.
Next was the Technical challenge where the contestants had to make chocolate babka bread (which sounds as hard as it looks).

Coming in last was Lottie (who had by this stage suffered enough during the Signature) while Linda came in first, with the judges enjoying her bread so much they couldn't believe she hadn't made it before.
For the Showstopper challenge, the contestants had to present a White Chocolate Tiered Celebration Cake, celebrating an important moment in their life.
For Sura, there was unfortunately nothing to celebrate about her cake, with Prue describing it as 'not edible'.
Meanwhile, Peter went for a white chocolate and mango combination which impressed the judges, but it was Mark's Bake Off Birthday cake which stole the show and Prue's heart.
Following her elimination, Sura said she doesn't think she'll "ever eat chocolate again", which might be an exaggeration.
Viewers on Twitter were sad to say goodbye to Sura but they did acknowledge that serving a cake you couldn't even eat on Bake Off was a major faux pas.
Next time we're back in the tent for Pastry Week, where we'll sadly be saying goodbye to another baker.
The Great British Bake Off airs on Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4. In the US, it's known as The Great British Baking Show, with new episodes debuting every Friday on Netflix.
