Brendan Cole has applauded Strictly Come Dancing winner Kevin Clifton for confronting Craig Revel Horwood for his scoring during the final.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, the former professional dancer said it was good to see Clifton question why he and his celebrity partner, Stacey Dooley, weren't able to get a 10 from the notoriously critical judge.
Referring to Kevin arguing with Craig, Brendan said: "I did it with a cause. Kevin was just upset he didn’t get a nine or a ten. I've never been upset about a low mark, I've had too many of them to be upset."

He continued: "I just thought it was about time Kevin showed he has got personality behind him... he's not just Mr Nice Guy. Nobody on television is Mr Nice Guy all the time."
Brendan, who made a controversial exit from the BBC One show in 2017, went on to say Strictly has become a "popularity contest".
When Piers Morgan asked if it was right that a contestant who came last on the judges' voting went on to win, Brendan replied: "I think it makes a bit of a mockery of it but at the same time, it's an entertainment show not a dance competition."
On the subject of scoring, Brendan added that Craig was "bang on the money", but he was unsure about the amount of full marks that were awarded throughout the series.
"I was really disappointed with how many 10s were thrown out across the board from various judges," he said. "10 means it's perfect. And I'm sorry, I haven't seen a perfect dance on Strictly in 15 years."
If Brendan's hope of becoming a Strictly judge ever becomes reality, it sounds like he could be tough to impress.
