Glasgow collective Singer Station won the first heat on Five's Don't Stop Believing last night.

The troupe, whose motto is "believe in yourself and accept people for who they are", performed Cyndi Lauper's 'True Colors' and were voted into the final by the public.

Judge Tamzin Outhwaite told the group: "It was a really emotional performance. When you watch a performance you want it to affect you in some way. It moved me. I love your motto. I love the singing. You should be really proud of yourself."

Dancer and choreographer Chucky Klapow added: "The choreography was unbelievable. It was so poignant. You're not the best dancers in the world, but it was perfect for you guys. Michael Jackson always told us, don't think, just feel. So throw all the choreography out of the door and just enjoy it."

Dice and the Manchester Show Choir finished in second and third place, meaning the judges could choose one of them to go through to the Wild Card show. After performing for a second time, the panel decided that Dice's mash up of 'Do Your Thing' and 'Voulez Vouz' warranted them having a second opportunity of reaching the final.

Meanwhile, the Don't Stop Believing supergroup was unveiled for the first time, with Nicola Ward, Laura Broad, Lewis Codling, Nataylia Roni and Nikhil Kalidas performing a medley of classic pop hits. Five new members will be added to the group each week.
