Former X Factor finalists Phoebe and Tita Lau have joined the Don't Stop Believing supergroup.

The sisters, who were part of the group Girlband in 2008, were among the new members in the TV song and dance collective.

Phoebe is now a hockey fanatic, volunteer hospital radio DJ and will be attending the University of the West Of England late this year, while Tita is a TV extra and DJ. Tita has also admitted that being voted off The X Factor was the "most devastating thing to happen to her", because she believed it was their big break.

The supergroup, which adds five new members each week, performs on the reality show and will be touring and releasing records when the series ends.

Other new members of the supergroup include former builder Kurt-Jordan Townsend, holiday park singer Kimberley Ensor and breakdancer Matt Mills.

Don't Stop Believing continues next Sunday at 8pm on Five.
