Tamzin Outhwaite has admitted that she is expecting to get tearful on Don't Stop Believing.

The former EastEnders actress, who is on the judging panel with Chucky Klapow, Duncan James and Anastacia, said that she was going to need to "toughen up" to make it through the series.

"I am going to be the crying judge. I am going to need to toughen up slightly. Because I am a little bit emotional about things being a mother," she told DS.

"This doesn't feel like a manipulative show to me. There won't be a sob story to every group. If they have issues, their reality is like that - for instance we have two kids who are in care - that is just their reality. That isn't a sob story, it's their reality. But it still chokes me up."

Don't Stop Believing, which is a competition open to the UK's best musical performance acts, starts on Sunday at 7pm on Five.
