Breathe, Torchwood fanboys and girls - Ianto Jones is back.
Gareth David-Lloyd will reprise his fan-favourite role in the second Torchwood audio drama from Big Finish.
Torchwood: Fall to Earth - set for an October release - will follow September's The Conspiracy, which will star John Barrowman as Captain Jack Harkness.
"Well, how could we not?" said writer and producer James Goss. "Ianto's such a brilliant character, and if we kept people on tenterhooks any longer, we'd be fools. Of course he's in [the audio series] and as soon as possible.
"We recorded with [Gareth] literally the first day after he finished a theatre tour. Did he want to put his feet up? Nope. He wanted to be Ianto."
Appearing in the first three series of the Doctor Who spinoff, Ianto and his romance with Captain Jack proved popular with Torchwood fans - with many left aghast when the character was killed off in 2009's mini-series Children of Earth.
