Paramount+ has unveiled a set of first look photos for upcoming British thriller The Crow Girl.
The six-part series stars Torchwood actor Eve Myles as DCI Jeanette Kirkland, who teams up with psychotherapist Sophia Craven (The Long Shadow's Katherine Kelly) after the bodies of unidentified young men start showing up around Bristol.
"With a lack of evidence and pressure to solve the case mounting, Jeanette enlists the help of prime suspect Carl Lowry’s psychotherapist Dr Sophia Craven, who offers a fresh but troubling perspective on the case," the synopsis reads.
"But with the killer inching ever closer to home, Jeanette and the team are in a race against time to untangle the web of secrets to solve this mystery."

New photos from the series feature Jeanette with her longtime partner and former mentor DI Lou Stanley (Vigil's Dougray Scott) and a first look at Kelly as the "sophisticated and poised" Sophia.

Lou can also be seen shadowed by diligent rookie DC Mike Dilliston (1917's Elliot Edusah), who is taken under Lou's wing for his first murder investigation.
Other cast members include Clara Rugaard as Victoria Burkeman, Victoria Hamilton as Superintendent Verity Pound and Chloé Sweetlove as Madeleine.
The Crow Girl, which is adapted from the book trilogy of the same name by Erik Axl Sund, is created for the screen by Milly Thomas, with Charles Martin and Rebecca Rycroft both serving as directors.
Following the show's announcement earlier this year, Myles revealed that the cast and crew have had "a really terrific first few weeks on set", and said she was excited for viewers to meet her "compelling" character Jeanette.

Kelly also shared her joy at being part of the project, saying: "I'm delighted to get started on this absorbing story filming in beautiful Bristol.
"The book is thrilling and Milly Thomas' scripts are even better, and I am excited to start unpicking the character of Sophia as events in the series unfold."
