Torchwood is returning with a new series of Big Finish audio dramas.
John Barrowman will reprise the role of Captain Jack Harkness in the first of six adventures to be released from September onwards.
The six dramas will each focus on a different member of the Torchwood team, and will explore the impact a mysterious event has on them.
The Conspiracy will be the first audio drama to be released, with Barrowman's Captain Jack at the heart of the adventure. A new drama will then follow each month from January 2016.
On reviving the Doctor Who spin-off with Big Finish, creator Russell T Davies said: "Torchwood has been to the Moon, and America, and the Himalayas, but now I think it's finally coming home, to the brilliance of Big Finish."
Executive producer Nicholas Briggs added: "Torchwood is something we've wanted to do for ages. It has great characters and there are many stories to be told. Our mission is to bring a whole new series of dramatic adventures to life.

"We're starting off with these more intimate, focused releases and will then move on to bigger casts and even wider scope. We're very much looking forward to working with all the cast and it's been such a pleasure liaising with Russell T Davies about this.
"He couldn't have been more supportive and helpful. Our Torchwood producer, James Goss, has really hit the ground running and his tangible enthusiasm is already proving rather an inspiration to us."
Torchwood launched in 2006 and ran for four series, with Eve Myles joining Barrowman for the duration of the show's run.
