Ben Price is fresh off his return to Coronation Street as Nick Tilsley, but is he nostalgic to play striker Conrad Gates in Footballers' Wives again too?
Since former co-star Gary Lucy confirmed last month that there's been "loads of talk" of bringing back Footballers' Wives recently, the topic of Ben's possible involvement came up during a recent chat with Digital Spy and other media.
"Would I want it to come back? I don't know," he admitted. "We're done, aren't we? There you go. I think it was a moment. I know that people have talked about it. All TV is of a moment and that was of a moment.
"Did I enjoy doing the show? Of course. Did I love the show? Of course. But I'm here [at Coronation Street]. It's a bit of a weird space for me, because I'm in Corrie. I'm sure there will [be a revival of Footballers' Wives] — maybe there will be. I can't see Conrad coming back."
It looks like Tanya and Amber are going to have to find someone new to fight over this time around. While a return to Footballers' Wives seems out of the question, Corrie fans will be seeing more of Ben's character Nick Tilsley.
Nick returned this week to visit Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) in the hospital when she got caught up in the Connor family's deadly roadside disaster.
