Honey, it's taken four months but the UK is finally getting those brand new episodes of Will & Grace.

Although the revival of the beloved comedy series arrived in the US all the way back in September, viewers abroad had to wait until Friday (January 5) to watch the season nine premiere on Channel 5.

'11 Years Later' opened up with lots of the familiar stuff that fans loved about the original series: Will and Grace (Eric McCormack and Debra Messing) are living together again, Jack (Sean Hayes) has cooked up a new money-making hustle and Karen (Megan Mullally) is as sloshed as ever.

However, it wasn't all nostalgia! The first half-hour took some pretty pointed zingers at Donald Trump, and climaxed with both Will and Grace defacing the Oval Office.

In short, it was a pretty amazing comeback:

If you enjoyed tonight's revival, we have good news! Not only are there plenty more season 9 episodes on the way — but NBC has also ordered a tenth season and there's potential for even more after that!

"We'll do it for as long as people will have us do it, right," Sean Hayes promised on This Morning on Friday, with co-star Eric McCormack quipping: "And by people, we mean NBC."
