Will & Grace returned to huge fanfare a few years ago, but now viewing figures are a lot lower, two of the main cast members were reported to have fallen out with each other and the show will be coming to an end with its current season.

But NBC Chairman Paul Telegdy has denied that a supposed feud between Megan Mullally and Debra Messing, which has seen them unfollow each other on social media and make some shady posts, is the reason for the show's ending.

Speaking to TVLine, Telegdy said: "Some things come to a natural end. [Series creators] Max [Mutchnick] and David [Kohan] told the story they wanted to tell.

"Just wait for the finale. It's epic; it ties together so many threads. It is coming to a great, natural end."

Filming for the final season concluded in December, and Sean Hayes posted a photo of the cast on their last day together, tweeting: "And that's a wrap from Stage 22 on the backlot of Universal Studios.

Will & Grace's 11th and final season airs its last 12 episodes on NBC in the US. In the UK, it looks like this season will be going straight to DVD.
