Philip K Dick's adaptation of Electric Dreams was back tonight (October 29) with the 'Human Is' instalment staring Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston as a highly decorated military officer.

Set in the year 2520, where Earth is no longer Earth but planet Terra – a dying world – overseen by Silas (Cranston), 'Human Is' sees the man return from fighting aliens, completely different.

Alongside Cranston, Essie Davis starred as his long-suffering wife Vera and Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham starred as General Olin in the episode.

Plenty of viewers thought 'Human In' was a pretty good episode and Cranston was brilliant in the role of nasty guy-turned-nice guy Silas.

However, there were a few viewers who thought the episode was missing something.

Some people noted that despite being set well in the future, it was quite sad that some things haven't changed...

What to Read Next

Although the series isn't quite complete, there were plenty of people who weren't happy at having to wait until NEXT YEAR to see the rest of the series.

Electric Dreams will return for its final four instalments at some point in 2018, featuring stars including Vera Farmiga, Greg Kinnear and Juno Temple.
