Film Club

Aimee Lou Wood and Suranne Jones star in this romantic comedy-drama as mother and daughter duo Evie (Wood) and eccentric single mum Suz (Suranne).

Dubbed "sweet and punchy" by Jones, the series follows Evie whose garage doubles as her space for her film club, where she escapes into the wonderful world of fiction with her best friend Noa (Nabhaan Rizwan).

It's perfect until Evie's world is rocked when she learns that Noa's dream job is about to take him to the other side of the country. This new development forces them to reexamine whether or not they are really just friends – but is it too late to act?

What to Read Next

Film Club is available to watch on Tuesday 7 October at 10pm on BBC Three. All episodes will also be available to stream on BBC iPlayer from 6am.

The Celebrity Traitors UK

Lies and deceit surely await in the debut of the UK's highly-anticipated Celebrity Traitors, where a star-studded line-up of 18 contestants will enter the castle for the beloved format.

Just like the original games, a small group of Traitors will be hand-picked by host Claudia Winkleman from the wider group of Faithfuls. Together, the Traitors will work behind the scenes to pick off the Faithfuls one by one, in hopes of winning the prize for their group's charities. While the Faithfuls attempt to sniff them out, the Traitors will work covertly.

This year's contestants will include Historian and Filmmaker David Olusoga, The Thursday Murder Club's Celia Imrie, EastEnders star Tameka Empson and Ted Lasso's Nick Mohammed.

The Celebrity Traitors will debut on Wednesday 8 October on BBC One and will air weekly on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 9pm.

A coming-of-age drama with a very unique spin, described by Netflix as an "irreverent, offbeat take" on the genre. Closeted gay teen Cameron Cope (Miles Heizer) and his best friend Ray McAffey (Liam Oh) enter "the tough, unpredictable world of the 1990s US Marine Corps," (via Tudum).
