Call the Midwife fan-favourite Georgie Glen has amused fans with her "cheeky" on-set antics in a new filming update.

Taking to social media yesterday (30 July), the beloved show shared an update with fans in which they revealed that shooting had taken place during the hottest day of the year.

Sharing a video to Instagram, Glen can be seen dressed as her character Miss Higgins, who she has played in the long-running BBC drama since 2018.

In the video, the actor stands in front of a fan doing Marilyn Monroe's iconic pose from the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch and then proceeds to do a little dance.

"Hottest day of the year on set! Here's Miss Higgins doing her best Marilyn Monroe impression in front of the cast fan cooler," they captioned the post.
