Derry Girls is sadly coming to an end very soon and we don't know what we're going to do without seeing Orla, Erin, Michelle, Clare and James on our screens again.
But the end of the hugely popular show isn't because writer Lisa McGee ran out of material.
Lisa previously explained that it was always "the plan" to end the show after three series and now she's let us in on some storylines that didn't make it into the final season, including two centring on James Maguire (Dylan Llewellyn).

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Lisa said: "There's so many [storylines that got axed], I could write a book!
"I think I will get them gathered up and put them online at some point when I have time, but because there's scripted things that I really loved."
One of the axed storylines is described by Lisa as "one of the funniest things" she's written, with the writer explaining: "It probably doesn't sound that funny, but it was one of the funniest things I've written but I couldn't find room for it, where they learned first aid.
"They're so, so terrible at it, but Orla kind of ends up accidentally saving someone's life later in the episode, using the first aid technique."

Lisa went on to add that there was also a cut storyline that saw Ma Mary and Aunt Sarah try to solve a local crime – but it was more on the level of milk bottles going missing than, say, a murder – while another storyline saw the school discover that James had never been baptised.
"In a whole different episode that never made it, they discover at the school that James was never baptised, never christened, so he has to get baptised as an adult," Lisa explained.
"And they do the whole Catholic baptism, like wear whites and get dunked in water and all that kind of stuff. So the gang have this huge fallout because they want to be his godparents, because you know you kind of choose two in the Catholic Church, so he's auditioning the gang for which two are gonna be the godparents.
"It just was very stupid, but that was a whole episode that was really funny but I couldn't find the political heart of it. So we had to leave it."

Another James plot that didn't make it involved James pretending he's really into football, with Lisa teasing: "I had James pretend he's sort of really into football to try and make some friends and ends up coaching this team."
However, with all these great ideas left on the table, maybe Orla, Erin, Michelle, Clare, and James will end up returning one day.
When asked about the possibility of a Derry Girls movie recently, Lisa didn't rule the idea out, but she added that she feels that she has taken all the characters "exactly where [she] wanted to take them".
"Who knows!" she began. "You never know what will happen in 10 years' time, but as a writer, you just know when it's complete."
Derry Girls airs on Tuesday nights at 9pm on Channel 4, and is available to stream on All 4.
