Kicking off the New Year with news to tickle the fancy of Mighty Boosh fans the world over, Noel Fielding has hinted that he and Julian Barratt could soon be reuniting for another run of the cult comedy series.

Teasing a comeback for Howard Moon and Vince Noir, the Great British Bake Off co-host wrote on Instagram: "There really wasn't enough Boosh this decade ! Let's try and rectify that in the next one ;)"

The black-and-white photo of Noel and Julian doesn't give much away in terms of format, but Boosh fans will be hoping for some new on-screen adventures that will no doubt be edgier than a satsuma.

That Boosh art exhibition was over three years ago, after all.
