With Christmas gifting season underway, and Black Friday finally, officially here, LEGO's 2025 advent calendar collection is selling fast – with remaining stock now on sale. (Our last price and stock check took place on Friday, 28 November at 9.50am).
If alcohol advent calendars or beauty advent calendars aren't for you, then a LEGO advent calendar might be perfect – especially if you want something a bit different from the usual festive countdown, or you're the kind of person who devotes a lot of your spare time hunting for the best LEGO sets.
Continuing its established tradition, LEGO's range of special edition advent calendars is influenced by some of its most popular playsets, complete with festive minifigures to give you (re)play value all year round.

LEGO's 2024 Star Wars advent calendar was a huge hit with the Digital Spy team – and this year's 263-piece offering looks just as fun. After all, who doesn't want to see BB-8 as a snowman, complete with a tiny top hat?

No, not those Friends (although you can buy LEGO Central Perk and apartment playsets based on the sitcom), but a long-running LEGO series featuring a friendship group and their fictional town of Heartlake City.
This year's 237-piece calendar features a holiday sleepover theme, with minidolls of Aliya, Autumn, Liann, Nova and Leo, plus pet microdolls – two dogs, a guinea pig, a gecko and a very unimpressed-looking ginger and white cat. This LEGO City advent calendar is now sold out – but if you're looking for a huge saving on a huge set, why not consider the LEGO City Explorers' Arctic Polar Express Train? It's now £99.99 in Very's Black Friday sale – a 44% saving on the RRP.
First established in 1978 as Legoland Town, the LEGO City series depicts city life. This year's calendar has 186 pieces and features minifigures with seasonal costumes including a tree, a reindeer and a polar bear. Like the Minecraft advent calendar, it also comes with a foldout playmat with a Christmas party scene on it.
LEGO Marvel Spider-Man 2024 advent calendar (LEGO 76293)
If you are a big Marvel fan, then you can still find some stock of the 2024 LEGO Marvel advent calendar around (albeit for more than the original RRP). Themed around Spider-Man and containing 246 pieces, it includes expect minifigures of Peter Parker and Miles Morales, plus Green Goblin, Venom and Ghost-Spider.
Other building toys include Electro's winter tree and a snow Spider-Ham – very festive.
