Amazon has expanded its Echo device range with an all-new Echo Show 5, plus a Kids' edition of the same device.
It has also launched a brand-new, semi-sphere-shaped smart speaker called the Echo Pop, and an updated version of its Echo Auto in-car system.
Echo Show 5 2023 edition and Echo Show 5 Kids
Amazon says the new-edition Echo Show 5 for 2023 is 20% faster than its predecessor. Its new speaker system doubles the bass and aims to deliver "even clearer sound".
The third-generation device's microphones have also been re-engineered, and it supports the cross-brand smart home connectivity standard Matter.
The new Echo Show 5 launches on May 31 priced at £89.99 in three colourways: charcoal, white and cloud (pale) blue.

A new Echo Show 5 Kids will launch at the same time. It has parental controls such as bedtime limits and age settings via a Parent Dashboard, plus Alexa responses designed with a younger audience in mind.
The device comes with a one-year subscription to Amazon Kids+ and a two-year guarantee. It also launches on May 31, priced at £99.99, and has a 'Galaxy' patterned design.
Echo Pop
The latest addition to the Alexa device family, the Echo Pop has a semi-sphere shape (so it looks a bit like a satellite dish, or a dome standing on its side).
It's available in four different colours — charcoal, glacier white, lavender and teal — and is due to launch on May 31 priced at £44.99 in the UK.
Its light bar is positioned on the top of the speaker and will glow blue when active. The top rear of the Echo Pop also has volume up and down and mute buttons. When muted, the microphones are electronically disconnected and the light bar glows a red-orange colour.
Amazon has stated that the speaker's fabric is made from "100% post-consumer recycled polyester yarn" and the aluminium used in it is "made from 80% recycled aluminium".
The Echo Pop supports Matter, and obviously, it has plenty of Alexa functions — including the ability to play music, connect to or control other compatible pieces of smart home tech like bulbs and provide you with timers, alarms, reminders and other helpful updates.
Echo Auto 2023 edition
The 2023 Echo Auto — the second generation of the device — is available to buy now, priced at £59.99. It enables Alexa hands-free in cars and has a revised design.
Echo Auto's 2023 edition features five microphones and brings Alexa compatibility to vehicles. It also has an adhesive mount to help you place the device inside your car.
