Netflix has previously said that offline viewing for the streaming service was very unlikely to happen, but more reports seem to indicate that Netflix is changing its mind.
The days of being unable to watch your favourite shows because of dodgy wifi may be a thing of the past as recent reports suggest that Netflix is now working on a feature that would allow its subscribers to download certain shows to watch on-the-go.
And all hopefully by the end of this year.
Dan Taitz, the chief operating officer of software company Penthera told LightReading: "We know from our sources within the industry that Netflix is going to launch this product."

He continued: "My expectation is that by the end of the year Netflix will be launching download-to-go as an option for their customers."

It all sounds promising thus far but Netflix is yet to confirm any development of offline viewing.
As a spokesperson told Pocket-lint: "While our focus remains on delivering a great streaming experience, we are always exploring ways to make the service better. We don't have anything to add at this time."
Offline streaming is currently available for some content on Amazon Instant Video for Amazon Prime Members. DisneyLife and Sky Go/ Sky Q also offer similar services.
