Of all the Wi-Fi hotspots you would want to connect to at an airport, this is not one of them.

Mashable reported that an Australian plane was delayed for over two hours after a passenger spotted a troubling Wi-Fi hotspot titled 'Mobile Detonation Device'.

Understandably the passenger spoke to crew members on board the Qantas flight but it was unclear where the device was located or what it was linked to.

According to John Vilder, a passenger from the plane, the captain said that there was "a device on the plane that had a name on it that he found threatening" and that they could not leave "until that device was brought to him".

After half an hour, no one had come forward but because of the distance the Wi-Fi covered, it could have been someone in the terminal responsible.

Eventually security decided it was safe to fly, but the captain's announcement appeared to have frightened passengers.

Some decided not to travel and delayed the flight further as they had to take their luggage off the plane.

We don't blame them.
