We've all been there.Weeks of hopeful messaging with someone on Tinder. Then you finally meet up, have some excruciating exchanges that destroy your faith in romance and being single never looked so good.

But that's where the new Tinder Social comes in. The dating app now gives users the option to create a group with friends which they can then use to swipe and match with other groups of people. Double dates can be doubly rewarding, right? RIGHT?!

In a blog post, Tinder explains: "To use Tinder Social, just start a group with the friends you're going out with, and then swipe and match with other groups also going out. You can then chat with your group matches or see their status to find out what they're up to and where everyone's headed.

"Whether you're looking for groups you share common interests with, or you're looking for a completely new adventure, Tinder Social is a better way to go out with friends."

Tinder Social has been rolled out on a trial basis in Australia, but has already been met with some horrifying reviews after users realised the new feature outs you as a Tinder user to your Facebook friends.

While Tinder has always required a Facebook profile to join the app, it never posted anything to show users were using the service before, allowing people to be discreet.

But this new feature means bad news for the cheaters of the world and good news for Jenny...
