Christmas is coming and it's time to start filling those stockings with gadgets. The problem is, even stuffing a trainer sock with tech is going to cost you an arm and a leg.
All is not lost however - we've seen plenty this year that isn't even close to bank breaking, but will keep gadget fans more than happy.
All prices are current as of December 9, but may change between now and Christmas Day.
1. Pebble smartwatch - £99
The Apple Watch doesn't come out until next year, so no amount of nagging is going to be able to get Santa to sort it.
Instead, why not go with the next best thing? Pebble's Kickstarter backed smartwatch has been making waves since it went on sale.

It uses an e-ink display to give it week-long battery life, while bringing notifications to your wrist from either an Android handset or an iPhone.
The Pebble is also easy to develop for and is highly customisable, so it should continue to get better as time goes on.
2. Knomad Air organiser and power pack - £50
The iPad Air 2 is a thin and delicate thing. Anyone who picks one up this Christmas is going to want something to keep it safe.
This is where Knomo comes in. They produce excellent cases and rucksacks for just about everything Apple makes.
We've carried a Knomad Air organiser pretty much since we started working for Digital Spy. It has kept our iPad safe while insuring that we didn't forget a single cable or lead on every press trip.
Combined with Knomo's own power pack, you can use the case to charge devices while they are kept safe and sound inside the Knomad case.
3. Elgato Avea - £39.95
Wi-Fi controlled smart lightbulbs are nothing new. Philips Hue, for example is an immensely impressive system that allows you to alter the lighting of a room from your mobile.
It isn't cheap though, which puts it out of the reach of this article. This is where Elgato's Avea comes in.
This single bulb can turn any colour you ask it via your phone. It also has a built-in alarm function which will wake you up slowly by raising the brightness of the bulb.
It's a must-have for gadget fans, with the ability to control your lighting from your mobile making a particularly good party piece.
4. RHA MA600i - £59
The best set of entry-level headphones we've tested. For the money, RHA's MA600i headphones make the perfect accessory for music-obsessed iPhone users.
They come with a large number of accessories, as well as a built-in remote so you can play and pause your music.
5. Parrot Rolling Spider MiniDrone - £89
Drones are a strange thing. Basically a remote control helicopter for beginners, they've become hugely popular in 2014.
They aren't cheap however, and are very easily crashed. This is why we're such big fans of what Parrot has done.
You've got a drone that is protected by two sets of wheels that will stop it from getting damaged whenever it crashes. An easy to use iPhone app also helps the situation, while the inclusion of stickers to decorate the device with is very fun indeed.
6. Now TV limited edition box - From £9.99
Cheap at £9.99, Now TV can turn any television into a fully-fledged smart TV. Available with various packages, including subscriptions to the likes of Sky Movies and Sky Sports, Now TV is also able to stream 4oD, ITV Player, BBC iPlayer and Demand 5.
You needn't ever give Sky a penny over the £9.99 you've paid for Now TV, and would still be able to get a large amount of content from the device to view and enjoy.
Limited-edition versions of the box mean you have the opportunity to give a little something special as a gift.
7. Apple iPod Shuffle - From £40
A classic. All you might ever need for listening to music, simply load some tracks on, hit play and you're away.
What really makes the Shuffle great, especially when paired with the much more potent and powerful Apple Earpods, is its role in keeping fit.
Clip a shuffle to your jogging kit and you've got an ideal solution for keeping things sounding good while running.
8. Copter Exoglass for Apple iPhone 6 - From £16
There's no better way to protect your iPhone's screen than using Copter Exoglass.
It's strong, scratch resistant and doesn't feel similar like cheap plastic screen protectors. The material was originally developed as part of a military project, it offers screen protection that doesn't destroy the appearance of your phone.
