Kathy's return aired as a shock storyline twist in a live segment during EastEnders' 30th anniversary week in February.

Since then, Kathy has remained off screen - but Gillian Taylforth has recently been back on set to film another brief teaser scene featuring the character ahead of her full-time return later in the year.

Treadwell-Collins and Woodyatt were speaking to Digital Spy at Wednesday night's House of Fraser BAFTA TV Awards Nominees party. The official ceremony will take place in London on May 10.
