13 huge Neighbours spoilers for next week

Neighbours spoilers follow.

Next week on Neighbours, it's return central in Erinsborough, as Susan, Karl, Paul and Max will all arrive back in town – while Shane and Toadie are also back for guest appearances.

The truth about the recent Eirini Rising mischief is revealed, Max faces further danger, and Terese must make a major decision over her living arrangements.

Susan finally returns to work at Eirini Rising and is shocked to hear that she supposedly made a series of mistakes before going on her break. A victorious Roxy stirs things up further by suggesting that the job may be too much for her.

Later in the week, though, Roxy's guilty conscience gets the better of her as she tells Susan, Karl and Terese the truth about her cruel sabotage plan.

At face value, Karl seems to be on the road to recovery after his accident in Italy. However, he's also hiding a secret from Susan as he takes some painkillers without her knowing.

Later in the week, Karl approaches Remi for a new prescription as his dependence on the high-dosage pills grows.

Paul arrives back following his trip to New York. After time to think, he tells Terese that he wants to bite the bullet and move in with her on Ramsay Street. Terese continues to worry that Nell could be a major obstacle to any such plan.

Later, Paul tells Nell that he'd like to put on an exhibition of her 'Story of Erinsborough' artwork all around the Lassiters complex. Nell is intrigued, but she quickly doubts Paul's motives for flattering her when she finds out that he wants to move back in with Terese.

Toadie also makes a comeback and announces the sad news that his father Big Kev has died. He plans to take Hugo and Angie to the US once the dust has settled but wants Nell to continue staying with Terese for the time being.

However, Toadie is alarmed when he learns that Paul could be moving back to Ramsay Street. Suddenly changing his plans, Toadie makes it clear that he'd take Nell away if this happened.

Toadie starts to regret his harsh stance when he sees that Nell and Paul are finally getting along well. He finally drops his objections and agrees that Paul can move in with Terese and Nell after all.

Terese raises a further concern, questioning whether it'd be inappropriate to move Paul into a house where Nell has so many memories of Toadie. Paul suggests that Terese and Nell move into the penthouse instead – freeing up No. 22 for a new tenant.

Remi and Cara's tensions start to ease following recent disagreements over Chelsea's baby secret. However, Remi struggles to shake how uncomfortable she feels over Paul not knowing that he could have another child out there somewhere.

Later, Remi tells Cara that she has an idea of how to track Chelsea down.

Roxy is pleased to see her friend Lachie in Erinsborough, but things get awkward when it seems that he may have the wrong idea about the nature of their relationship. She's quick to set the record straight by explaining about her marriage to Kyle.

Lachie vows to stick around for a while, but he's hiding a secret agenda. The shifty criminal hopes that Roxy will lead him and Carter straight to Max – just like she did a few weeks ago.

Shane arrives back in town after being alerted to Max's mysterious disappearance. He blames Andrew for not doing enough to deal with the troubling situation.

Later, Shane's anger turns to despair as he tells Jane he has a terrible feeling over Max's absence.

Max arrives back in Erinsborough unexpectedly. Keen to keep a low profile, he'll only speak to Holly.

Terrified after his recent ordeal, Max confirms that Carter held him captive, but he found a way to escape. Max has only returned to collect his passport, as he now wants to leave the country to keep everyone safe.

Max asks Holly to help him retrieve his passport without anyone else knowing. Holly agrees, but when she sees how worried Shane is, she decides that she can't keep quiet about Max's return.

Shane and Andrew both intervene to convince Max not to flee. Paul even agrees that Max can hide at the hotel until the danger subsides.

Of course, the threat is much closer to home than anyone realises, as Roxy continues to spend time with Lachie and inadvertently brings a dangerous threat to Max's doorstep.

Sadie grows suspicious over Byron's recent behaviour. When she spots Lana handing him a wad of money, she questions Byron on whether he's working as an escort again.

Byron sets the record straight by explaining that he's been doing some legal work on the side for Lana and would like to become a lawyer again.

Fallon lets Leo know that Sebastian is paying another visit to Erinsborough. Leo storms over and provokes a row with Sebastian, much to Krista's disapproval when she witnesses it.

Later, Sebastian does a disappearing act, and Krista bitterly blames Leo, claiming that he could have risked her friend's sobriety by arguing with him.

When Sebastian later reappears, he admits to Krista that he gave into temptation by drinking again. He then carries out a cruel plan that he'd previously agreed with Fallon.

Sebastian plants a seed in Krista's mind that Leo could be attracted to Fallon. Krista seeks clarification from Fallon, who brazenly lies that she has slept with Leo.

A distraught Krista hits the bottle for comfort and sleeps with Sebastian – making a terrible mistake on the eve of her wedding.

Neighbours releases new episodes from Mondays to Thursdays for free on Amazon Freevee and Prime Video in the UK and US. In Australia, the show airs from Mondays to Thursdays at 4pm on Channel 10, with a 6.30pm repeat screening on 10 Peach Comedy.
