Byron learns that Max has been making a play for Sadie, and surprises her with his supportive and trusting response.
When Sadie admits that she doesn't think she can live with Max, Byron tells Max to move out. Max is resistant, but when he realises his actions have made Sadie uncomfortable, he agrees to leave.
Meanwhile, Krista arrives at the prison, meeting with Tess, who gets right to the point about Heath's family hiring a lawyer looking into the outback saga with Holly as their main target. On Byron's urging, Krista breaks the news to Holly, who spirals.

Paul's concern is piqued when Sebastian tells him it's too dangerous for Leo to be in Winterton, but a brief distraction from Terese lets Sebastian escape. With the help of Terese, Paul frantically tries to find Sebastian. When it comes to no avail, Terese suggests they jump in the car and find Leo. The team are united again.
