Holly is emotionally drained from her psychological assessment, prompting Susan and Karl to worry privately about what will happen if she's given a custodial sentence. Karl is surprised at the unexpected closeness between Felix and Holly at the Tram, where Felix thoughtfully gives Holly perspective on her court worries.
Later, Karl finds Holly engrossed in her psychological assessment report, which labels her a traumatised individual as a result of a troubled childhood. After reading the report himself, Karl is beyond frustrated that it makes it seem as though Holly has grown up without any parental love or support.
Susan asks if Holly wants to talk through the confronting report, but Holly only disengages, impacted by the report's incisive summary of her life.

Vic devastates Melanie with the news. She covers her hurt to give Vic her blessing to get back with Jane. When Jane allays Vic's doubts with another kiss, Nicolette, Byron and Aaron walk in on the moment, and they're shocked when Vic confirms they're going to give their relationship another shot. Byron is not pleased.
Elsewhere, Terese returns home from her secret full-day bender only to be shocked by the sight of her newly landscaped and very bare front garden, and shocked again to discover the landscaper followed her email instructions (sent while drunk) to the tee.
Eager to cover, Terese dismisses Susan's concerns, instead claiming that she is fine with the landscaping work. The lie only grows when later Terese claims she not only loves the garden's new look, but had such a great time away with Piper and Tyler, even helping them out with a renovation. When Leo informs Paul of Terese's getaway and her odd change of heart with regard to the garden, Paul's left concerned.
