After getting busted with the money, Holly admits to Wendy it belonged to Heath. Holly tries to justify keeping the money as victim's compensation for what Heath put her through, and reasons that all the money at Lassiters will be accounted for by Tess… so no-one will miss it.

But after Wendy threatens to tell Karl and Susan, Holly agrees to come clean with Andrew. Holly returns the money to Andrew, but lies about the amount, saying it was only $10,000, when it was significantly more.

Andrew and Wendy agree to not tell Karl and Susan, believing that though she had a momentary lapse in judgment in thinking about keeping the money, Holly has ultimately done the right thing. However, Holly doesn't tell Wendy or Andrew that she has already spent some of the money, nor that she's still holding onto a substantial portion of it.

Meanwhile, Andrew shares the breaking news with Cara, Remi and JJ: Felix is being released. JJ confides in Nell his apprehension and feelings about Felix's imminent release, as their romance continues to blossom.

Andrew tells Felix he has made arrangements to help him reintegrate into the community, including finding him accommodation in a halfway house and helping to pay his living costs until he finds a job.

Felix is grateful for Andrew's help, though Andrew insists he shouldn't mistake his assistance for forgiveness: it's on the condition that Felix stays away from both his family and the Varga-Murphys for good.

Remi and Cara remain sceptical that Felix will do so. It is later revealed that Felix's new attitude and outlook is not just the result of time in prison: he's found God and religion.

Elsewhere, Nell privately asks Terese if she'd be open to her staying over at Number 22 a couple of times a week: a ploy so she can spend more time with JJ. Terese is moved and keen. Toadie and Terese walk in on Nell and JJ locking lips. The two are officially busted.
