Alf returns to the Bay and is shocked to learn that Marilyn has moved out because she doesn't feel safe around Eliza. Roo is forced to explain that Eliza threatened a boy with a broken bottle and has been stealing things, including Alf's knife.
Roo apologises to Marilyn over everything that's happened, but gets offended when Marilyn insists they'll need to call the department about Eliza. Marilyn makes a brave move by deciding to move back in so she can look after Roo. This leaves Roo unimpressed as she suspects that Marilyn just wants to tell her what to do.
Meanwhile, Abigail rushes off after Mali tells her how much he loves her. She keeps him at arm's length all day, adamant that she's not ready for this. When Mali finally catches up with Abigail, he's honest over how he's known how he feels about her for a while. Although scared, Abigail manages to tell Mali that she loves him too.
Elsewhere, Bree is worried that Sonny may be in danger amid his involvement with the River Boys. As Remi still isn't ready to forgive Sonny, Bree takes the initiative by arranging a meeting with him herself.
