Mackenzie and Levi admit that their tense encounter with Dean has spoiled the vibe of their romantic break. It's difficult to pretend to have a good time while such animosity still exists with Mac's brother.
Ziggy rebukes Dean for the way he treated Levi, especially as she couldn't get a word in edgeways to announce her pregnancy. When Karen discovers that Levi and Mac have been together for a year, she also starts to change her stance and suggests that Levi really could be the man to make Mac happy. They invite Mac and Levi back over, presenting them with the idea of a road trip for the four of them.
Meanwhile, Tane is concerned when Eliza shows no remorse for her latest violent actions. Roo calls over Cash to give Eliza a talking-to over the consequences of her actions, but she rushes upstairs at the sight of a police officer. Cash does some research and discovers that Eliza was forcibly removed from her family and was traumatised by the loss of her grandmother.
