Marilyn worries what the prosecution will decide for Heather. Rose promises that Marilyn will be the first to know. A resolved Marilyn returns to work at the Diner, her life finally returning to normal.
Elsewhere, Justin is frustrated that Ziggy isn't handling her new role as garage manager and suggests that it's because of her pregnancy. Leah strongly advises against pursuing that line, as it's prejudiced.
Dean is exasperated that Ziggy won't be honest with Justin about why she didn't open the garage. A stubborn Ziggy refuses to use her pregnancy as an excuse, believing that she will be held to a lower standard. Realising her dignity is at stake, Dean swears to keep the hospital visit a secret from Justin.
Finding a solution, Justin announces that he is reducing Ziggy's hours to help her cope. Insulted, Ziggy feels targeted for being pregnant. Justin's attempt at compromise backfires badly.
