When Rose's phone relentlessly pings notifications from a new dating app, Xander admits to his mischievous deed – he set up a dating profile for Rose. A grinning Rose decides she may keep the app.
Meanwhile, tormented by never ending morning sickness, Ziggy is desperate to resume normalcy. Dean is understanding, although Ziggy's public vomiting is drawing attention. Ziggy buckles under the emotional weight.
Dean is at a loss, unable to soothe a wracked Ziggy. When Dean pushes Ziggy to accept her new boundaries, Ziggy snaps. She can make her own decisions, and she has decided not to tell Justin about the pregnancy yet. Dean's attempts at diplomacy get him booted to the couch for the night.
A good night's sleep does Ziggy wonders, as she wakes apologetic. The couple decide to turn a new page, starting with pancakes at Salt. But Dean's probing questions about Ziggy's work send her into a rage. A despondent Dean wonders what happened to them doing pregnancy as a team.
Elsewhere, following her spontaneous confession, Marilyn causes quite a stir. Refusing to believe Marilyn is the culprit, John asks for the charges to be withdrawn. Sensing there is more at hand, Rose offers to drive a glum Marilyn home. Looking for a motive, Rose presses for details on Marilyn's hostility towards John, but Marilyn is tight-lipped. An astute Rose detects that Marilyn is hiding something.
Assured that Marilyn is innocent, John refuses to accept her cheque for car damages. An adamant Marilyn insists that she's guilty and so John must accept her money. Catching her in a lie, John asks which tyres Marilyn slashed – the front or the back? When Marilyn can't answer, John gets his confirmation – Marilyn is not the culprit. John asks to know why Marilyn is protecting Heather.
Devastated to hear of Marilyn's confession, Alf decides that her friends need to rally around Marilyn in a show of support. A compassionate Roo tries to understand why Marilyn targeted John, but Marilyn fends off Roo's questions with another lie – she stopped taking her medication. Satisfied that this explains Marilyn's bizarre behaviour, Roo is thankful for Marilyn's 'honesty'.
