Fuming from John's interrogation, Heather causes a scene in the restaurant, yelling at John to stay away from her. Poor John cops the judgemental looks of patrons nearby. An exasperated Heather threatens Marilyn with leaving Summer Bay, but Marilyn promises to have a stern word with John. True to her word, Marilyn orders John to stay out of her business and away from Heather.
After witnessing the drama between John and Heather, Nikau wonders what is going on. John warns Nikau to be careful with Heather, insisting that she's not what she seems. An indignant Nikau counters that John can't just accuse people of wrongdoing on a gut feeling.
John is rattled to discover his car tyres have been slashed. Alf remarks sombrely – someone must have it in for John.

Realising there might never be a good time, Tane pushes ahead with 'the conversation'. Over a romantic home-cooked dinner, Tane asks Felicity what their future holds. Felicity is candid – all she knows about her future is that Tane's in it.
Feeling sentimental after counselling Tane, Ziggy tells Dean how grateful she is for their life and growing little family. Dean feels the same way. Their heartfelt moment is interrupted by a violent vomiting episode from Ziggy – the plight of morning sickness is unrelenting.
A romantic Dean cares for a nauseous Ziggy and admits that he'd marry Ziggy if that's what she wants. A content Ziggy pulls him into an embrace, declaring that she already has everything she wants.
