In a friendly encounter with John, Heather learns that he's Marilyn's ex-husband. Digging for information, Heather lets slip that she knows about Marilyn's adopted son, Jett. Something twigs for John, wondering why would Heather know all this about Marilyn. Something about Heather's curiosity rings bells for John.
Debriefing over dinner with Irene, John wonders who this mysterious Heather really is and what business she has in Summer Bay. A wise Irene counsels John to stay out of it.
A well-intentioned Marilyn is sprung at Heather's caravan dropping off a tarot book. Disappointed, Alf and Roo remind Marilyn that she's banned from the caravan park for harassing poor Heather. Marilyn covers, claiming that Heather requested the book.

After sharing in Ziggy's growing family bliss, Tane is hit with a wave of wistfulness over his own future. On the beach, Tane checks in with a glowing Ziggy. Despite the morning sickness dragging on, she couldn't be happier. A vulnerable Tane admits that he wants what Ziggy has – a family. Unfortunately for him, that's not what Felicity wants.
