Despite Dean's best efforts to support Ziggy with her decision about the pregnancy, Ziggy feels pressured to have the baby. A vulnerable Ziggy breaks down to a comforting Mackenzie, explaining that has no idea how to decide.

Ziggy concedes that Dean has been nothing but supportive. Stifling her fear, Ziggy tells Dean she's made the difficult decision – they're going to have a baby. A teary Dean pulls Ziggy into a grateful hug.

Meanwhile, reeling from the publication of Tully's article, Remi is frustrated to have another couple stealing the spotlight. Seeing no solution, Remi wonders if he should leave the band.

Avoiding the band and wallowing, Remi is pleasantly distracted by Bree, who decides to join him for breakfast. Hearing Remi out, Bree guides him not to give up on his passions.

Eden is glad to see Remi has returned with a seeming change of heart. Eden announces that despite their betrayal, Theo and Kirby may have been onto something with the video – Lyrik now has a bunch of new online fans. Realising this could be a good thing for Lyrik, Eden and Remi resolve to be more committed to the band.

Grateful for her advice, Remi invites Bree out for lunch. But Bree coldly shuts Remi down, telling him to take a hint – Bree's not interested. Busking out his sombre mood, Remi is rudely interrupted by John, informing Remi that he cannot play without a permit.

While they argue, a thief grabs Remi's guitar case full of loose change and runs off. Remi follows him out and a chase ensues. But as Remi rounds a corner, he is brutally whacked on the head by the guitar case, sending Remi to the ground unconscious.

Elsewhere, John receives a call from his adopted son Jett. According to Jett, Marilyn sent him a humiliating text, saying that an adopted child can never compare with a biological one.

Outraged, John goes to confront Marilyn about the text, but is put on the backfoot when Marilyn seems completely oblivious. John begins to wonder whether someone else sent Jett that awful message?

When shown the message, Marilyn is aghast, insisting that she would never say something so cruel to her son. Marilyn is horrified that her friends would even consider her capable of doing such a thing.
