Leah is on a tirade against Justin's decision to buy the band a van, accusing him of living vicariously through Theo. Refusing to back down, Justin insists he's supporting Theo's dreams, putting Leah on the back foot.
Leah senses that Justin's decision has nothing to do with Theo, and everything to do with Justin's lost musical dreams. A reflective Justin apologises to Leah, conceding that she's right – Justin wishes he could have had the band life that Theo is now getting. A compassionate Leah gets on board with the van idea, to Justin's delight.
Meanwhile, in a moment of desperation, Cash tries to escape his hospital bed to get answers about the shooting. Bree warns that Cash is too weak and won't make it out the door. Cash tries nonetheless and ends up collapsing. Rose watches on, crushed by guilt.
