A giddy Justin has a proposal for the band's transportation problem, but he won't spill the beans until it's locked in. Sitting Leah down for a serious chat, Justin braces for resistance – he wants to dig into their shared savings. He claims it's for a good cause – marketing for the garage.

Leah was expecting something way more irresponsible, but of course she'll support investing in his business. When Leah suggests working together on Justin's marketing, Justin becomes evasive. Suspicions spike for Leah as she wonders what is Justin up to.

Showing up for band rehearsals, Theo is surprised to find it's just he and Kirby. Unsure of how to be alone together, Theo and Kirby try to stay professional, focusing on the music. Keeping a lid on their feelings kills the creativity, but the awkwardness is saved by Justin who has big news: Justin has bought the band a van.

Outraged, Leah confronts a defensive Justin. She questions how Justin could use their savings without telling her first. A sheepish Justin explains that this was his marketing plan – the band van will say 'Lyrik – sponsored by Summer Bay Auto' on the side.

Meanwhile, Rose is glad to hear that Cash has awoken from his coma. Still full of guilt, Rose is apprehensive about seeing Cash, but Xander convinces Rose to support her friend in need.

At the hospital, Bree recognises Rose, explaining that Cash has been asking for her, wanting details of the shooting. Summoning courage, Rose puts on a smile for Cash. Determined, Cash asks to speak with Rose alone.

Begging for information, Cash breaks Rose's heart. An apologetic Rose claims to know as much as Cash does. Furious, Cash yells at Rose to tell him the truth, sending Rose out in tears. Cash tries to escape his medical trappings, forcing Bree and Xander to hold him down.

Cash is grappling with his traumatic amnesia after the shooting. Bree explains that it's perfectly normal after an incident like a shooting. Agonising over the consequences, Cash wonders if Marty had a family. Bree suggests that Cash talk to a psychologist, but a defensive Cash rudely orders Bree to get out.
