A dismayed Nikau learns that the bikie bust is all over the local papers. Rose cautions the Parata men, firmly – they must not blow their cover, despite the public accusations against them.
An outraged John confronts Nikau – his future as a lifeguard is being deliberated by the surf club committee. Unable to blow his cover and declare his innocence, Nikau is forced to submit.
Enraged, Nikau turns on Rose – he could lose his dream job over this mess. With his hands tied, Nikau begs John to make his case before the surf club committee. Unable to give the full story, Nikau assures John he's innocent. But without an explanation, there's not much John can do to help.
