Home and Away: Ziggy and Remi are trapped together

On their drive out to inspect a van, Remi is enjoying the time alone with Ziggy. Justin is irritated that Ziggy is unresponsive on her phone. Theo is waiting on feedback on his TAFE assignment that's due today.

When Justin turns to Dean, Dean realises that Ziggy lied about meeting a client for Justin. Dean is worried, while Justin feels guilty, realising he has unwittingly put Ziggy in the bad books.

Suspecting Mackenzie knows Ziggy's whereabouts, Dean grills her for answers. Busy at work, Mackenzie refuses to play ball, insisting that Dean and Ziggy should sort out their own issues like adults.

Ziggy and Remi arrive at the address of the van seller and take the vehicle for a test drive to be sure. A staunch Ziggy drives a hard bargain, negotiating the price down to Remi's budget. Chuffed, Remi hands over the cash and they head back to Summer Bay.

Finally, Ziggy answers Dean's call and is caught out in her lie. Before Dean can clarify the situation, Ziggy notices smoke billowing out of the van and hangs up on Dean. They pull over and realise in horror that they've been sold a dud.

Seeing Dean's anxiety peak, Mackenzie spills the beans that Ziggy was helping Remi buy a van this morning. Dean wonders why Ziggy would lie about that, but Mackenzie assures Dean that it's nothing untoward. Dean's focus is on Ziggy's safety, as she sounded stressed on the phone.

When Ziggy and Remi go back to confront the seller, he locks them inside a shed and drives off in Ziggy's car. Outraged, Ziggy bangs her fists on the locked door. Things just got a lot worse.

Meanwhile, a nervous Marilyn bolsters herself to confess to Roo – she took the tabs from Roo's tutoring flyer. Roo is shocked and humiliated. Cooling down, Roo admits defeat to Marilyn. But an upbeat Marilyn has a slew of ideas to bolster Roo's advertising. Grateful, Roo takes Marilyn's ideas on board.

Elsewhere, a gleeful Eden and Kirby are settling in comfortably at their new house. It's a definite luxury compared to couch surfing. They could get used to this. A sensitive Eden checks that Kirby is okay with the no-romance rule in the band. A brittle Kirby insists she's fine with it. But clearly, she's not.
