Dr Cameron's CPR efforts are ineffective at reviving Cash. Using the defibrillator, Cash is momentarily stabilised, but Bree realises that he must be bleeding internally, ordering him back to surgery. In the waiting area, Dr Cameron delivers the tense news – Cash is now in critical condition. Irene calls Felicity – she better get here quick, as it's not looking good.
Arriving at the hospital in distress, Felicity turns her indignation on Rose, blaming her for Cash's shooting. Irene and Xander step in, but both are horrified to learn that Rose was leading a bikie sting operation against her boyfriend, Tex.
Ashamed, Rose collapses in tears at Felicity's brutal tirade. Rose knew Cash was in a bad head space after being dumped by Jasmine, so Rose should have forced him to wear his bulletproof vest. A kind Xander tells Rose it's not her fault.

The two of them are buzzing, their hopes high for the band's future. An emboldened Theo plays some original music for an admiring Kirby. They settle in for a night of songwriting, working until the sun comes up. Justin looks for a missing Theo – he didn't come home last night. Justin hopes that Theo's band commitments aren't conflicting with his apprenticeship.
By the morning, they've written their first song together, both grinning as they play. It's a hit. As Kirby pulls Theo into a congratulatory hug, their elation turns into a steamy kiss. Is this the beginning of a new band romance?
