Eden and Remi are curious as to why Theo is at the house. Kirby covers quickly – they've been writing a song together.

When Ziggy calls, Theo comes running. She's not happy that Theo has been neglecting his TAFE work to hang out with the band. Theo's excuses might work on a soft Justin and Leah, but Ziggy's not fooled.

Ziggy drills Theo, but Theo can't focus – he keeps thinking about his kiss with Kirby. Needing to unload, Theo consults Ziggy on the issue. A supportive Ziggy encourages Theo to talk it out with Kirby.

The band move into their new house over the road and plan to christen the new house with beers, but Kirby rushes off to secretly meet Theo. Eden notices Kirby's strange behaviour.

Mackenzie is flat out at work without Felicity. She struggles to find staff to fill the roster. Trying to help, and needing money for the band, Eden offers to cover Felicity's shifts at Salt. Mackenzie considers – could this work for both of them?

Theo and Kirby meet up to talk. Theo admits he couldn't stop thinking about their kiss. Kirby feels the same, but they need to keep it strictly professional for the band's sake. Last time Kirby had a boyfriend in the band, it ended badly. They both agree that the band needs to come first.

Unable to resist, they pull together in a steamy kiss. Walking past, Remi is shocked to see Theo and Kirby kissing on the beach and rushes home to tell Eden. A stern Eden and Remi lay down the law for Kirby and Theo – no hooking up with band members. Theo and Kirby share a moment of hesitation, then agree to stick to the band rules.

Remi also has a plan for how to get the band a new tour van – starting with the hot local mechanic. Eden gives Remi a warning smile, not wanting him to make trouble with the neighbours. Since their first gig at Salt, Dean is not Remi's biggest fan, so when Remi asks Ziggy for a favour, Dean shuts him down. Refusing to be spoken for, Ziggy tells Remi she'll help him. But he's got to stop flirting to rile Dean up. Remi smiles his agreement, happy to be working with Ziggy.

Meanwhile, Roo is excited to discover her tutoring poster has a tab missing – someone has taken her number. As time goes on and nobody calls, Roo becomes dispirited. Seeking to bolster Roo's optimism, Marilyn discreetly pulls a tab off Roo's poster.
