Tane's arrival into the Bay is quickly met with an angry Ari, who is ready to physically prevent him from coming any closer to their family. Gemma rushes to break up the public fight, but not before Ari lands a punch on Tane's jaw, in front of the shocked Bay residents.
Nikau begs Gemma to allow Tane to stay. Gemma is surprised to learn Ari warned Tane about being around their family, but Nikau is beyond excited to have his uncle back in his life. Ari reminds Gemma that Tane's not the knight in shining armour she's hoping for.
Gemma talks sense into Ari - they've lost one brother, they can't lose another. Gemma wants everyone to start acting like a family, but Tane and Nikau aren't as on board with the idea. Can the family mend old wounds?

Meanwhile, Ben is rushed into hospital. Maggie is beside herself when Ben starts to convulse in a seizure. Tori investigates Ben's medical mystery but she comes up with very little to indicate what's making Ben's life hang in the balance.
