Ryder is on cloud nine after spending the night with Jade. Roo is frantic to find him, having realised that Ryder didn't come home last night. She manages to catch up with Ryder just as he's about to enjoy a romantic breakfast with Jade. Roo makes her displeasure clear, chiding Ryder for his inconsideration and admonishing his choice in women. Embarrassed at receiving a dressing down in front of the girl he's now besotted with, Ryder retaliates, making a sarcastic jibe about not getting into trouble the way Roo did when she was 16.
Hurt, Roo later vents to Alf and Martha, blaming Ryder's attitude on Jade's influence. Alf reminds Roo that Ryder is an adult – and, consequently, they have to let him make his own choices. Alf also has a word with Ryder, who apologises to Roo for the snarky comment he made to her earlier. Ryder insists he's going to keep seeing Jade, and given how smitten he obviously is, Roo realises there's no point trying to argue.
Alf and Martha decide to head off to the city for an impromptu weekend together, and Roo is suddenly acutely aware of how lonely it feels being left in the house by herself.

Meanwhile, Robbo is tentative as he reveals to Jasmine that he has told his mother they'll move to the country. However, Jasmine is thrilled with the decision, and reminds Robbo she doesn't care about location, just so long as they're together as a family. Knowing they need to wait until Victor and Des's trials are over, Robbo and Jasmine decide they'll be leaving in four weeks, once the court case has concluded.
Justin is overwhelmed when he arrives back from the city, where he and Mason have met with Tori's medical team. Leah discovers that they want to move Tori away from ICU and into a brain injury unit. While Mason thinks this will mean she's well looked after, Justin feels they're all giving up on her.
Justin feels as though he's being rushed into a decision, and hates having to take this kind of responsibility for his sister's life. As he grapples with the decision he needs to make, Robbo reveals he has decided to move back to his parents' farm with Jasmine and Grace. Justin is furious, believing that everyone's giving up on Tori and drives off in a huff.
