Colby has rushed Bella into the hospital after she collapsed. Alex takes her observations as Bella winces in pain. Alex asks for Bella's medical records, but Colby points out this is her first time at a hospital. Bella's neck and arm stiffen, symptoms which alert Alex to Bella's vaccination records. Not being able to find any immunisation records for Bella, Alex tells Colby and Mac she thinks it might be tetanus.

Bella's situation is dire as Alex explains what tetanus can do, but she will administer an antitoxin, hoping the bacteria hasn't attached to nerve tissue. Colby's guilt washes over him, realising he should have believed Bella when she said she was sick. Mackenzie tries to calm Colby's increasing anger over not believing his sister. Colby is furious and he pushes Mackenzie away.

After he has cooled off, Colby apologises to Mackenzie. He thought Bella was faking it too. When Alex allows Colby to finally see Bella, he's relived and apologises for not believing her. Bella has been stabilised and Alex talks to them about an immunisation catch-up plan. When Colby moves out to sign documents, Mackenzie tells Bella that she gave them a scare today. A hostile Bella is quick to point out Mac didn't believe she was sick.

Leah tries hard to buoy Justin with a date night, having missed him these past few days and is keen to ask him about moving in. But Justin feels like being alone, sidelining her, and Leah knows this isn't the time to ask about living arrangements.

When Justin returns home, an emotional Leah tells him that she's going to pack up her things and move back to Alf's. Justin is thrown – that's not what he wants. Leah makes sure she's not putting pressure on him, as it's a big decision. Justin tells her that he could have stayed in the city near Ava and Tori, but he came back her for her. Justin asks Leah to move in, and it's a big yes for her.
