Tension surges as Robbo tightens the chains around Dylan, immobilising him. He also locks the other captors in the cell. Robbo starts to pace, building the courage to do what he has always planned – making Dylan pay for what he did to his family. Dylan catches him off guard by denying he hurt Robbo's wife and kids. Robbo is confused, but he considers what Dylan is proposing and hesitates,
Dylan empathises with Robbo because he lost his son too – he would never put someone through what he has been through. Dylan offers to reveal who did kill Robbo's family to the AFP. If he's telling the truth and Robbo kills him, he'll never know the true culprit. The sense of danger builds as Robbo debates whether to trust the person who has been torturing him.
Meanwhile, Alex surprises Mason with an interview for an internship opportunity at the hospital. Mason is ecstatic for a second chance and the possibility of staying in the Bay. But after the interview, his confidence plummets and he doubts his chances.

Elsewhere, after a rocky start, Leah and Justin try to cheer up Ava by getting out in the sun and kicking a ball around. They realise there's a lot to think about to make things normal for her. They'll need to think about school and soccer teams.
After spending quality time with Justin and Leah – and talking to Raffy on the phone – Ava is happy and is starting to settle in. To help things along further, Leah announces that she'll be moving in with Justin and Ava to help out, only while Ava is in town. Justin is grateful as we see this new little family unite.
Also today, Roo and Maggie are busy conducting the HSC exams, but Maggie is distracted after her argument with Ben. At the end of the day, Roo notices Maggie staying back to do exam prep. Finally, life is getting darker for Ben, who starts to tear up while talking to Coco on the phone. He is constantly reminded of his fragmented family and continues to blame himself. Ben eventually walks into the Astoni house, completely miserable, and he breaks down, sobbing while hugging a consoling Maggie. Will he finally get the help he needs?
