Abe throws away his wedding ring from Cleo.
Marie helps everyone get ready for the wedding over at the Lomax house. As tensions rise over Abe again, Peri tells her mum that if she can't support her relationship, she shouldn't go to the wedding. Marie reassures Peri that Abe is ready and waiting at the folly to marry her.

Someone wakes up Cleo at the riverbank. Cleo is muddy from her escape but sets off to stop the wedding.
Peri is devastated to discover that Abe isn't at the folly. Marie admits that she hasn't spoken to him and sets off to find him.
Cleo manages to stop a passing car, which turns out to be Pearl. Pearl offers Cleo a lift to the village.
Marie finds Abe in his flat. Abe tells his mum that he has done a terrible thing. Marie advises that he needs to move on and that marrying Peri wipes the slate clean from his past.
Later, the wedding party get ready after hearing Abe is finally on his way. What will happen at the ceremony?
Meanwhile, Sienna finds a picture Sophie has drawn, which shows someone falling out a window. Sienna discovers mud on Martha's slippers, Martha claims she didn't go out.
Zoe offers Sienna advice on caring for Martha, which isn't received well. We learn Jez was the one who asked Zoe to reach out to Sienna.
Later, Sienna admits to Jez that she believes Martha's diagnosis.
