Donny takes Vicky Christmas shopping. When Robbie questions why his brother was talking to Vicky earlier, Freddie lies that he was sticking up for him, condemning her for how she treats him.
Robbie confides in his brother that he fears there might be someone else. When talking about marriage, it becomes clear there is trouble in paradise for Freddie and Grace. Robbie tells Freddie he knows he'll always have his back.

Theresa and Prince encourage Mercedes to come to Casa Christmas, but she doesn't have it in her to go. A heartbroken Grace puts her feelings aside and encourages Mercedes to go to Casa McQueen. It's all smiles as Mercedes turns up and spends quality time with her Marias.
When Mercedes thanks Grace for her support with a Christmas card, matching the handwriting to Freddie's gift, Grace realises her friend and husband have been growing close right under her nose. Whilst having her chemotherapy treatment, Grace confronts Mercedes.
In emotional scenes, Grace feels betrayed by her friend as she realises Mercedes is falling in love with Freddie. Grace threatens her to stay away from Freddie or else.
Later, Grace demands to know who Freddie has been sleeping with behind her back.
